In the new Dark Crstyal series, there is a creature called a locksnake, golden in color with prominent spines and a beaked head. It is used as a living lock, vigilantly guarding whatever it has wrapped itself around. Ellie loved this concept and began to imagine her version of a locksnake. What would it look like? What would it guard? Using this as her own Inktober 2019 prompt, she let her imagination run wild.
